Would many american woman father to terminate parental rights and get no child support in this case?
Would many American mothers do this?
Would many American mothers allow the father to terminate parental rights and get no child support, if he files a $30,000 lawsuit to become the primary custodian, and you many eventually have to pay him child support? The trial court last up to two years or more.

are you the dad in this scenario? if so, just grow up and pay the child support, whether you have custody or not, and don’t try for custody unless you actually believe it to be in your child’s best interests (and if it is, don’t give it up to someone else).

Unless the court has a reason to believe that the child is in dangeorus hands, they would NOT grant primary custody to the father, nor would they send the child out of the US.
Terminating parental rights does not get you out of child support, either.
If you don’t care enough to pay child support, why the HELL would a court give you custody, since it’s an obvious ploy just to try to get out of child support.
Besides, what a scumbag, waste the 30k or just support your own kid? Ugh.
First off, I don’t know if terminating parental rights also terminates child support…at least not in all states.
But I would imagine many single mothers who are strong, financially independent and don’t want the father’s influence around the child would take this option. However mothers who are poor, money hungry or just have a chip on their shoulders and want to get vengeance on the father wouldn’t do it even if it was possible.
